The 2019 NFL season is still several months away but it’s never too early to get ready the fantasy season. With free agency, trades and the NFL draft still to come, many of these players’ fantasy value will change for the upcoming season. In a four part series, I take a shot in the dark and rank the top quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers and tight ends for 2019 redraft leagues.
Sometimes football is awesome and other times it is miserable. No one ever wants to see a player get hurt, especially when it impacts their fantasy football team. On Sunday, Rams’ wide receivers Cooper Kupp went down with a non-contact knee injury and reportedly torn the ACL in his left know, ending his season.
The 2018 NFL trade deadline was yesterday and usually there isn’t much movement. Once every few years there is a name player traded that has a real impact on a team and has some fantasy implications. When Amari Cooper was traded to the Cowboys last week, many expected that to be the “big move” prior to the deadline. However, the NFL once again won as the trade deadline saw five trades involving name players, four of which included serious draft capital.
Everyone loves season long fantasy football. However, daily fantasy football has becomes bigger and bigger over the last few years. Unlike in season long leagues, fantasy owners have to build a line up using a salary cap. The best way to build those line ups is to find good value players in order to spend big on top end players. Below I have put together seven players under $6,000 on both DraftKings and FanDuel that fantasy owners should take a look at in week two.
