After ending the 2019 season with the top seed in the AFC Playoffs, the Baltimore Ravens fell short of their Super Bowl expectations. This season they retooled and are on track to make a Super Bowl run. Currently, the Ravens are 5-1 and only a game out of the top seed in the AFC. However, despite their success this season, that hasn’t kept them from being active on the trade market.
If the 2021 NFL Draft took place today, the New York Giants would have the second overall pick. They hold a record of 1-6, with their lone win coming over their division rival Washington Football Team.
Tonight we have a matchup between the struggling Atlanta Falcons and the surprising Carolina Panthers. Both of these teams sit in the bottom half of the NFC South division but have different outlooks for the rest of the season. Neither team has a good defense, so hopefully, it will be a high scoring game.
Last week’s Thursday night game was hard to watch at times. Both offenses had ugly turnovers while Daniel Jones got caught by the turf monster, causing him to miss out on a long touchdown run. Last week’s recommendations were mostly accurate as Carson Wentz scored 27.8 fantasy points, and Boston Scott produced in replace of Miles Sanders.
Despite holding a 2-5 record this season, the Washington Football Team is only a half-game out of first place in the awful NFC East. The team is on a bye this week, but don’t be expect things to be quiet for the front office. Washington can be either buyers or sellers for next week’s trade deadline, depending on their goals this season.
Within the last hour, the Dallas Cowboys agreed to trade defensive end Everson Griffen to the Detroit Lions for a 2021 conditional sixth-round pick.
After closing out the 2019 season strong, the Atlanta Falcons had playoff expectations this season. However, the team has started the season off 1-6, with their only win coming over the 1-5 Minnesota Vikings.
In their first season without Tom Brady this century, the New England Patriots have struggled. Currently, they are 2-4 this season, with wins over the Miami Dolphins and Las Vegas Raiders. However, the Patriots have lost three in a row and currently sit in third place in the AFC East.
What a wild Sunday of football! To cap off the great day of games, the Seattle Seahawks and Arizona Cardinals gave us an extra 10 minutes of exciting football last night. However, it’s a new day, and we have a good matchup tonight as the Chicago Bears head out west to take on the Los Angeles Rams.
The Thursday night game between the New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles had some of the worst moments in football this season. Daniel Jones blew a sure-fire rushing touchdown as the Turf Monster got him, while both quarterbacks threw horrible interceptions. I had a good night on Thursday, getting four of five props correct.
