Back in 2013, James Dudko at Bleacher Report started a conversation about the efficiency rating of certain offensive personnel sets, and whether or not teams that favored one particular set had more efficient and productive offenses. The 12 set, or the set in which two tight ends are deployed on the field, was not heavily used in a lot of offenses heading into the 2012 season, but that all changed once the Patriots started to exploit a particular mismatch that the set creates. As a result, 2013 became the first NFL season where we saw a drastic spike in the use of this formation. Looking at the Personnel usage so far in the 2019 season, it is safe to say that the 12 set has become the new defining offensive personnel package that can drastically indicate the success or demise the football team on any given Sunday.

The last week of November basketball is here and it’s no looking back as we get into December and the games really starting to count.
On a tough five-game road trip, the Celtics finished on a losing note and also lost star point guard Kemba Walker in the 5th game of the trip. Walker collided with Celtics forward Semi Ojeleye and left the game with concussion-like symptoms. When Walker may return is unclear and that doesn’t bode well for the Celts at all. 20 plus points a night and his playmaking ability are not easy to replace.
Week five of the NHL Weekly Roundup is here! This week we saw teams near the bottom of the league starting to pick up the pace and put together win after win, and some of the teams higher on the boards showing their weaknesses and dropping in the rankings.
The NFL season is in Week 12 and at this point, we can see the teams that are contending for a SuperBowl and those just trying to get into the playoffs. The New England Patriots with Tom Brady and Bill Belichick are still atop the mountain, but this year they have some worthy challengers to their throne.

If this could be worked into the meld of such weekend-relishing anchor statements, that would be much appreciated.
