The 2019 NBA Draft is furiously approaching as the playoffs wind down to the cream of the crop in the league. It emulates from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Thursday night June 20th. The annual Draft Lottery kicks it all off on Tuesday, May 14 which will fortify the top fourteen picks at the top. The combine also begins on the 14th and the withdrawal deadline for underclassmen is set for June 10th.
The Los Angeles Rams went through the 2019 NFL draft addressing the team’s need of depth. Particularly, at the running back position with Darrell Henderson. The Rams took Henderson with pick No. 70 in the third round to prolong their peak.
Just last weekend during the Kansas City series, Miguel Cabrera answered the press asking him about his lack of power so far this season. His answer? “Don’t worry about it.”
The Pittsburgh Steelers had themselves a fairly significant draft. They moved up in the top 10 for the first time since they drafted Plaxico Burress eighth overall in the 2000 draft. They got their man Devin Bush, a stud middle linebacker out of Michigan, but enough about the big splash. Let’s talk about what I found to be the most significant pickup in the draft.
