For many of us, the excitement of a new week in the NBA hits no greater height than seeing our teams move up a spot or two in the league standings. While the majority of us are just happy and content to see our teams make the postseason, others have set their sights on higher goals. They want their teams to be No. 1.
The rest of the NBA season promises to be filled with competitive battles all the way to the postseason. The teams who underperformed have already made their trades or replaced their coaches. Those who overperformed will have to rely on their momentum and push forward with the assets that they maintained. All these teams now believe that they have a chance to succeed.
Only four game-days are scheduled for this week, but three of those will have 10 or more contests. That’s still plenty of basketball to sort out.
Are you one of those feeling a little bit sad about Super Bowl Sunday being over? Don’t worry. An easy remedy for that is just around the corner. The NBA’s All-Star Weekend activities should be enough to help you move on from the recently concluded NFL season. You’ll surely cheer up once you see what the new week has to offer.
