NASCAR DFS: Dover Drydene 311

There are only three races left in the NASCAR cup series regular-season before the playoffs begin. Things are really starting to heat up for the last couple of playoff positions. This weekend, the cup series heads to Dover Deleware for the final doubleheader on the cup series schedule. What better way to cap off the doubleheaders than with two races at the track they call the Monster Mile. Now let’s take a look at some of the top drivers for the first cup race on Saturday.

Dominator

Kyle Busch ($10,600 DK and $11,200 FD)

It’s hard to believe after 23 races this season, Busch has yet to win a race. That will change this weekend. He has three wins at Dover in his career and 17 top 10s. Last week at Daytona, he was running well before he started to have problems that resulted in a 37th place finish. Before last week’s race, Busch had a couple of top-fives in a row. Busch will be starting 22nd so, that will give him an opportunity to score a lot of fantasy points even if he does not win the race. Look for Busch to put it all together this weekend and finally pick up his first win on the season.

Mid Value

Austin Dillon ($8,700 DK and $7,000 FD)

Dillion was unable to race last weekend because of his positive COVID-19 test. He announced via Twitter last night that he is back and ready to race. Dillion is in a prime position for a great day, especially in terms of daily fantasy. He is starting 32nd and in his last six races at Dover, his average finish is 16.5. That leaves him plenty of opportunities to pick up positions on the track for place differential points.

Christopher Bell ($7,600 DK and $8,200 FD)

The rookie announced last week that he will be officially taking over the 20 car for Joe Gibbs Racing in 2021. Bell has been inconsistent at times this season but he has shown the ability to get some top 10 finishes. He also has a great track history at Dover having raced four times in the Xfinity Series, finishing top five in three of those races. Two of those resulted in wins. Bell is still fighting for his first career victory and a spot in the playoffs. Look for him to have a solid race and with some strategy who knows maybe he could become the second rookie to win this season.

Value

Daniel Suarez ($5,800 DK and $5,000 FD)

It is no secret that Suarez is not in great equipment. However, Dover is easily one of his best race tracks. In six races at Dover in the cup series, Suarez has never finished outside of the top 15. He also won at Dover back in 2016 in the Xfinity series. Suarez will be starting 28th on Saturday. If he’s able to sneak into the top 15, that will be exactly the type of value he needs to be worth his salary.
