Washington Redskins rookie quarterback made his respect for Tom Brady known to the media this week

“It would be very special, I watched Tom vs. Time going into my last year of college and I used and I used that as far as I prepared last year,” Haskins said to reporters.

The Ohio State alum born May 3, 1997, was two-years old when the Patriots drafted Brady in the sixth round of the 2000 NFL Draft.

From his preparation, to the way he holds himself to a higher standard, Haskins is excited to take the field with him if he gets the start on Sunday.

“Just how he prepared his body, his mental makeup,” Haskins said. “(Also) what he does with his receivers in his off-time. You look at him and you think, ‘That’s what a quarterback is supposed to look like’ and I’m looking forward to being on the same field with him on Sunday and looking forward to meet him.”
