The Boston Bruins have announced today the following roster moves:
- Peter Cehlarik has been placed on waivers for assignment to Providence.
- Maxime Lagace who was signed to provide mentorship in Providence has cleared waivers
- Anders Bjork who was drafted 146 in 2014 has been sent down to the AHL. Bjork spent most of last season on the injured reserved while dressing up in 20 games for the Bruins.
- Trent Frederic, 2016 first-round selection was also sent down to Providence. The Wisconsin Badgers product raked in 25 points in 55 contests.
- Cameron Hughes, a center who accumulated 12 goals for 28 points in 52 games last year, also found himself being sent to Providence.
The last player to round out the cut is their 2017 second-round pick, Jack Studnicka. Studnicka, who captained the Oshawa Generals before getting traded to the Niagara IceDogs, finished with 36 goals and 83 points in 60 games. Studnicka will join the rest of the group in Providence.
