Hopefully, you were expecting a game full of injuries and players on the Covid-19 list because that’s exactly what we have tonight. Two of the top three running backs for the Green Bay Packers, while the top three wide receivers for the San Francisco 49ers, will miss tonight’s game as they are on the Covid-19 list. With some many unknowns, gamblers will need to adjust their strategy when betting on tonight’s game.

The team’s fan base and fantasy football players will have their eyes glued to the game, watching every play with the utmost attention. For gamblers, their only rooting interest is whatever will lead to money in their pocket. However, which bets should they place for tonight’s game? Here are five prop bets gamblers should consider placing.

Jerick McKinnon Over 2.5 Receptions (-161)

The 49ers will be without several weapons tonight. The list includes star tight end George Kittle, wide receivers Deebo Samuel, Kendrick Bourne, and Brandon Aiyuk, plus running backs Raheem Mostert, Tevin Coleman, and Jeff Wilson. On top of that, Jimmy Garoppolo won’t play either, giving Nick Mullens the start. With limited weapons, expect the 49ers to design plays to get the ball in McKinnon’s hands in space often. In the four games, Mostert has missed this season, McKinnon is averaging 3.5 receptions per game. Now with Samuel and Aiyuk out, McKinnon’s role in the passing game is even more critical.

Davante Adams Over 7.5 Receptions (+110)

When Adams has been on the field this season, he is a target machine. In the four games he played start to finish this season, Adams is averaging 13.8 targets per game. Furthermore, in those four games, Adams is averaging 10 receptions per game. Meanwhile, last week the 49ers gave up 12 catches for 161 yards and two touchdowns to D.K. Metcalf. Aaron Rodgers has limited weapons that he trusts, none more than Adams. Expect the over on this prop to hit before the start of the fourth quarter, if not halftime.

JaMycal Hasty Over 16.5 Rushing Attempts (-110)

With only two healthy running backs, expect the 49ers to give Hasty the majority of the work on the ground while McKinnon gets the passing game work. Last week against the Seattle Seahawks, Hasty had 12 rushing attempts, but the 49ers were trailing a big part of the game, and the Seahawks have a solid run defense. However, the Packers have the worst run defense in the league. Last week, they gave up 163 rushing yards and three touchdowns to Dalvin Cook. While Hasty isn’t a star like Cook, the 49ers have limited weapons in the passing game and would be wise to run the ball down the Packers’ throat till they prove that they can stop them.

Davante Adams to Score an Anytime Touchdown (-175)

In case it wasn’t clear, Rodgers trusts Adams more than anyone else on the team. In the four games Adams has played start to finish this season, he has a total of nine touchdowns. Furthermore, Adams has five touchdowns over his last two games while averaging 14 targets during that span. Meanwhile, the 49ers have struggled to slow down wide receivers this season. Not only did they give up three touchdowns to the Seahawks’ wide receivers last week, but over their last four games, they have given up seven touchdowns to the position. Adams should easily cash this bet for you by halftime, if not the end of the first quarter.

Trent Taylor Over 4.5 Receptions (+125)

Down their top four pass catches, someone has to step up for the 49ers tonight. Of their healthy wide receiver, Taylor is the only one with a reception this season. He has nine receptions for 77 yards, including three receptions for 32 yards last week. While the Packers have done a good job slowing down wide receivers this season, the ball has to go to someone besides a running back tonight. If Jordan Reed plays, this bet becomes a little shaky. However, if Reed misses the game, Taylor should see enough targets to pull in five or more receptions.
