So, as you’ve probably noticed by now, we’re, um, having a bit of a problem at the moment.

I haven’t mentioned it yet because almost every article I’ve seen for weeks has been about it, but we’re in the midst of what’s likely to be the worst pandemic in at least 60 years, a financial collapse that will shatter our economic systems as we know them, and – definitely not worst of all – no basketball.

Louisville Cardinals Land Top Grad Transfer

Chris Mack and his Louisville coaching staff got a big get this weekend, with the commitment of graduate transfer Carlik Jones. The former Radford Highlander, Jones earned Big South Player of the Year accolades averaging 20 points per game, along with 5.1 rebounds to go along with 5.5 assists. Red Sox 2020 Preview

Although the MLB season is currently on hold when and if play resumes, the Boston Red Sox roster will look very different than just a year ago. This offseason, the Red Sox dealt franchise star Mookie Beets in a blockbuster deal with the Dodgers. They also lost fan-favorite Brock Holt in free agency and will be without the services of Chris Sale due to Tommy John Surgery. They will have a new manager in Ron Roenicke after Alex Cora stepped down due to his role in the Astros sign-stealing scandal. While the Red Sox are full of new faces they will be looking to return to the postseason when baseball resumes.

Detroit Lions Post Free Agency Seven Round Mock Draft

The Detroit Lions finished in last place in the NFC North Division, but that doesn’t reflect the reality of their situation. The team was competitive for the first six games going 2-3-1, and during this stretch, all of their losses were by four points or less. The Lions were not as bad as their record shows. However going forward, this is a significant offseason for head coach Matt Patricia and general manager Bob Quinn, as both are rumored to be on the hot seat. In short, Patricia and Quinn need to win and be in “meaningful games” during December. To play in the meaningful games in December, the Lions have hit on a few of their nine picks in the 2020 draft.
