Utah Jazz sign Bojan Bogdanovic to four-year deal

The Utah Jazz have agreed to a four-year, $73 million contract with free agent Bojan Bogdanovic, a source tells Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Bogdanovic, now 30, was drafted by the Miami Heat with the first pick in the second round of the 2011 NBA draft. He was quickly traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves, though, and then flipped to the Brooklyn (or then-New Jersey) Nets, who watched him play for three years before signing him to an extension. He was later traded to the Wizards and then flipped to the Pacers, who signed him to an extension that expired today.

Bogdanovic has started 282 of 399 career games, including 81 of 81 in 2018-19 and 161 of 161 over the past two seasons. He averaged 31.8 minutes on the floor in each of the past two seasons, averaging 4.1 rebounds, two assists, 0.9 steals, 1.7 turnovers, and 18 points per game. He averaged three points off the three throw per game, connecting on 81 percent of shots from the line while hitting 43 percent of his three-pointers and 54 percent of his two-pointers.
