Things Get Heated Between Jimmy Butler, T.J. Warren in Indianapolis

Wednesday night’s contest between the Miami Heat and the Indiana Pacers was a bore in the third quarter. That is, until Jimmy Butler and T.J. Warren got into it and gave the people something to see. With the Heat up 23 points and in possession of the ball, Butler came off a screen and found a direct path to the hoop. Warren was not about to give up an easy layup to the All-Star, so he grabbed Butler from behind. Butler did not like that.

Butler and Warren had to be separated as a ref moved Butler away from the chaos. Words were said and both received technicals.

But wait, there’s more.

On the ensuing inbounds play, Butler received the pass, and he was checked by none other than Warren. Butler threw his shoulder into Warren’s body, picking up a personal foul. Warren approved of the call and decided to taunt Butler by clapping at him as he walked back to his side of the floor.

Due to his actions, Warren was rewarded with a second technical. Butler turned around to check in on the action and blew a kiss to his ejected opponent. Warren responded by flipping the bird on his way to the locker room.

Jimmy Butler was not finished, though. Rather, he decided to keep things going postgame in the locker room.

Butler then took to social media where he circled the next time these two teams meet. Let’s just say that the big-man is ready for a rematch.
