In the 2020-2021 NBA season, the New Orleans Pelicans finished the season with a 31-41 record for 11th in the Western Conference. Former No. 1 pick, Zion Williamson led the Pelicans and was named a first-time all-star.
Toronto Raptors guard Kyle Lowry will be one of the prized free agents in next month’s free agency. Lowry was the most coveted player at the 2021 trade deadline with several teams trying to land him.
For the month of June, we will be ranking the top 10 NBA players at each position. These rankings will be based only on the 2020-21 regular season and will not include any injured players.
The New Orleans Pelicans season didn’t end with the results they would have preferred but there is a ton to be excited about for the franchise moving forward. In Stan Van Gundy’s first season leading the charge, the Pelicans finished with a 31-41 record.
