The summer months are now upon us, and we continue to get closer to the college football season. With the progression in the offseason, we also progress in our rankings. This week features the offensive line.
In 2017, Jordan Smith was dismissed from the Florida Gators following a credit card fraud scheme he was a part of. He spent a year at a JUCO school before landing with UAB in 2019. During his time at UAB, Smith was one of the best players in the C-USA conference.
Spencer Brown is a top ten player at his position and I’m not talking about the tackle. While the Northern Iowa tackle has gotten a lot of hype, there is another player with the same name that is a good football player as well. This one is a running back from UAB. He ran for over 4,000 yards, 41 rushing touchdowns, and 19 career games with over 100 yards. Brown is seen as a consensus undrafted pick, but there is certainly more talent than that.
