As of the time the notification was made it was made clear that foul play and suicide did not appear to be the reason for his unexpected passing.
Tyler Skaggs was born on July 13, 1991, in California. He would go on to dominate High School hitters in and around Santa Monica and ultimately get drafted by the Los Angeles Angels with the 40th pick in the 2009 MLB Draft.
