For the first time since 2020, a ‘Triple Crown’ round of Supercross went down at State Farm Stadium in Glendale. Just what the doctor ordered after four exciting rounds to kick off the new season.

For the second time this season, Supercross took over Angel Stadium in Anaheim, California. Coming off of a weekend in San Diego with two first-time winners, there was no shortage of headlines entering round four.

We knew Adam Cianciarulo was entering the 2022 Supercross tilt at under 100-percent. Unfortunately, AC9’s injury luck has not gotten any better.

Dating back to 2016, the rider who had won Round 3 of Monster Energy Supercross has gone on to win the 450 title five times. Going further back, 15 times has the Round 3 winner won the title dating back to 2003.

We’re not even a month into the 2022 Supercross season, and already the injuries have piled up. Seth Hammaker, of Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki, is now the latest rider set to miss some time.

Supercross shifts from So-Cal to Nor-Cal for the week, as Oakland returns to the schedule. Last week it was Ken Roczen and Christian Craig lighting the candles in Anaheim to kick things off.

After nearly two years, Supercross returns to its premier venue, Angel Stadium, for the traditional season opener. After one of the more noteworthy offseasons of the last decade, there is finally racing to talk about.

With Anaheim 1 now just two days away, this year’s 250 West field has officially rounded into form. Typically, the heavy hitter teams like to play games with who they send out for the opening Regional Championship.

For the final part of our 2022 450 Class Supercross preview, we still have plenty of big names to get to. Cooper Webb and Marvin Musquin have a new friend on Red Bull KTM in Aaron Plessinger.

2021 is now officially in the books, and that means the upcoming season of Monster Energy Supercross begins in just a matter of days. A new year will bring back some normalcy to the ordeal as well.

Justin Barcia more or less made his way onto the AMA GasGas operation by way of a ‘trade’ with Yamaha involving then amateur rider Nate Thrasher. Since moving on from the old Monster Yamaha Factory Team, Barcia has been terrific with GasGas.

On Saturday evening in Paris, France, Romain Febvre had a brutal wreck in the second 450 Sprint of Paris Supercross. A case leading into the finish line triple caused a mid-air ejection followed by a brutal landing for Febvre on the landing ramp.
