MLB DFS: Wednesday Winners 7/7, 7:00pm Slate
We have a nine-game slate tonight beginning at 7:05 p.m. EDT in the MLB, and for today’s lottery ticket, we’re looking for Wednesday winners, especially in tournament play.

Only a few weeks until the Post Season season begins so our player pool to choose from will be widdled down considerably soon. As for tonight, the Dodgers and Mets send a couple stud pitchers to the mound, the Padres visit the Rockies with an implied 13 run total attached and the Twins and Indians continue their important series at Progressive Field. Let’s dig right in and go Around the Horn!
Another MLB All-Star game is in the books and we can finally get to some real competition with most of the league returning to action Friday night, Thursday the Texas Rangers and Houston Astros square off. As for tonight, we have a nice 13 games to sink our teeth into. Baseball is back and we’re going Around the Horn!
We’re entering July. Up to 162 hitters would, as of this writing, qualify for the batting title with at least 3.1 PA per game. Do you know how many of those 162 players have currently a negative WAR? Ten of them. Do you know how many of those ten have under a minus-one WAR? Two of them. One of them (Yonder Alonso) is no longer part of an MLB roster. The other one, well, he is Starlin Castro and he should supposedly be one of Miami’s best players. Ugh.
I will not pretend or attempt to be a weatherman but the early look ahead doesn’t seem pretty, at least for a couple of games. I’ll be avoiding the game in New York and the game in Philadelphia until we hear the word that it’s a full go. So, let’s take a look at some of the other games and options that seem to be playable tonight.
No delays. No long drawn out intros. You don’t have time. You need to set your lineups. Let’s get right into the DFS picks for tonight’s games.

It’s hard to believe that the Marlins once had Giancarlo Stanton, Christian Yelich, J.T. Realmuto, and Jose Fernandez on the same team and have not been to the playoffs since they defeated the Yankees in the 2003 World Series. Side note, it’s pretty amazing that they have been to the playoffs twice in their existence, and won the world series both times.
It has now been 13 years since the Boston Red Sox came back from being down three games to none
