Three Potential Offseason Trades for Tampa Bay
How can Tampa use the trade market to improve their roster for 2019? It’s been a long run of misery

The story of Nick Foles was one of the most unlikely sports stories of all-time; it’s also the story of an underdog proving his worth and stepping in after an injury twice to prove his worth.
When these two teams last faced off in New Orleans in week 11, the Philadelphia Eagles played their worst game in recent memory, getting run out of the Superdome, 48-7. We should expect the Eagles to be able to do a much better job at scoring with the New Orleans Saints this time. The Saints had a much different road to the playoffs, finishing up the regular season 13-3 and grabbing the number one seed. Philadelphia, on the other hand, had to dig themselves out of a 4-6 hole, winning five of the last six and beating the Bears in the wild-card round.

The Chicago Bears host the Philadelphia Eagles today at 4:40pm ET. The Eagles again find themselves entering the playoffs with backup Nick Foles. The Bears are back to being the “Monsters of the Midway” again and hold the third seed in the NFC. Something’s gotta give.
In part 1 I covered injury news for four of the teams scheduled to play on wildcard weekend. In Part 2 the remaining four teams are covered. Going into today, the team with perhaps the best news on injuries is the Baltimore Ravens.
The NFL playoffs are upon us and Prime Time Sports Talk is celebrating with weekly picks of the do-or-die matchups.
The Los Angeles Rams have lost two games in a row for the first time in the Sean McVay era. They lost 30-23 to the reigning Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles in Los Angeles which drops them to 11-3 this season.
Obviously, the biggest story out of Week 11 was the buffet of fantasy points you got if you had anyone playing in the Monday Night game. Another big story was how bad the Eagles were against the Saints. We knew the Saints were going to put points but we all expected Philadelphia to hang with them somewhat. Both Marcus Mariota and Alex Smith, not only left their respective games with injuries, but they both outscored Carson Wentz in fantasy.
The 2018 NFL trade deadline was yesterday and usually there isn’t much movement. Once every few years there is a name player traded that has a real impact on a team and has some fantasy implications. When Amari Cooper was traded to the Cowboys last week, many expected that to be the “big move” prior to the deadline. However, the NFL once again won as the trade deadline saw five trades involving name players, four of which included serious draft capital.
As of 4 PM ET, the NFL’s trade deadline day has finally come and gone. Did your team trade for that star player you wanted, or maybe they let go of that player whose jersey you own? Whatever the case may be, we here at The Scorecrow will give you all the news and notes you need from around the league.
