New York Jets vs. Philadelphia Eagles: Week 5 Preview
The Philadelphia Eagles are 10-0 all-time against the New York Jets, and they face off for an 11th time this weekend. Danny Podolsky previews the contest.

Last week’s game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers was one of the best games all year. This week, we get the Los Angeles Rams verse the Seattle Seahawks. This could be a high scoring game or a low scoring defensive battle. I am guessing a high scoring back and forth game. Here are my picks for the best players in tonight’s game.
Week four of the NFL is behind us and at the quarter mark of the 2019 season, there have been a few surprises. If you had told me before this season that the top two rookie quarterbacks were going to be Gardner Minshew and Daniel Jones, I would have thought you were crazy but here we are. While some household names on offense have struggled, more defensive players were able to make their mark this past week and it was impressive. But that’s enough talk for now, let’s dig into these rankings starting with a couple of honorable mentions.
Ah yes, it was a duel of top-tier QBs in Detroit this afternoon. Matthew Stafford took on Patrick Mahomes in a battle that Lions fans won’t forget, but may want to. A day that looked promising early, and even late, turned for the worse as Darrel Williams crossed the goal line to seal the deal for the Chiefs.
Danny Podolsky recaps Thursday night’s close game between the Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles.
What a game! What a way to open up week four! In what was a back-and-forth shootout last night, the Eagles were the team to come out on top, 34-27, in a thriller. The Eagles ended up finishing the game down to just two cornerbacks, but with just seconds left, backup cornerback Craig James came up with a big play to tip the ball in the air. Nigel Bradham caught the tipped ball for the game-sealing interception.
Not many people expected the Philadelphia Eagles to be 1-2 coming into this game. The Green Bay Packers have been playing good football and it does not look good for the Eagles. The Eagles have already been struggling with injuries and now they have to play on short rest. The Packers defense has been good this year but I would bet the over on the total score. These teams can put up points and put them up fast. Let’s take a look at who the best DFS players are in this potentially high scoring Thursday Night matchup.
Philly looks to get back on track against red-hot Green Bay, writes Danny Podolsky.
In tonight’s game, the Philadelphia Eagles travel to Green Bay to take on the 3-0 Packers in a game some are calling a must-win for the Eagles. Unlike the past few Thursday Night games, this one should be entertaining and very fantasy friendly. There are several players I would feel comfortable playing in tonight’s game but first let’s take a look at my predictions from last week.
The title of this article has a double meaning, as the Eagles not only dropped the game, but one the main causes of the loss was a total of seven dropped passes from Carson Wentz. Yes, I said seven. SEVEN. Now let’s get into all the culprits of the heartbreaking 27-24 defeat by the hands of the Lions, as the Eagles now fall to 1-2. Here are five takeaways from yesterday’s loss.
Just two seasons ago, a Detroit Lions victory at Lincoln Financial Field seemed nearly impossible. The Lions had fired Jim Caldwell after what felt like the franchise was at a standstill. The Eagles and Doug Pederson were led by Nick Foles after a Carson Wentz injury forced the team to change quarterback hands. They were led to a Super Bowl, something Lions have hoped just to get to since the Lombardi Trophy Era started.
Welcome in. Hopefully, everyone had a great week and is as excited as I am for this week’s games. The goal of the cash game article is to outline some of the safer plays, while also, providing options that will help you create the most optimal builds. The whole point of it all is to make some money. Sometimes we won’t, but putting ourselves in the best position to is the main thing. That goes without saying, but can sometimes get overshadowed by the results on a week to week basis. All people want to know is how many points a guy scored, and not necessarily the route in which they got there. DFS is not only a science but a math equation. Let’s dive in, put the pieces together, and try to solve it. Here are my favorite Cash Game Plays for Week 3.
