Something stood out during the recently concluded NBA Summer League games and it was the absence of many notable young players.
This year, there will be a special group of players who are extra excited: the sophomores. The current class of second-year players never had a conventional rookie season.
The Boston Celtics need a bench. Game after game, the Celtics struggle to maintain their momentum that the starters created. Brad Stevens needs to hand the keys to the second unit to the rookie.
What a game. The Boston Celtics went on a 13-0 run late in the fourth quarter. Then the Miami Heat answered with a 10-0 run to tie it with 13 seconds left in the game. Unfortunately, Celtics guard Payton Pritchard tipped in the layup with 0.2 seconds to close it.
The NBA Draft is now officially over, as the NBA held yet another thrilling and emotional year of rookies being drafted. The Boston Celtics had four draft picks this time around to hopefully fill in the holes on their roster. Going into the 2020 draft, the Celtics had picks 14, 26, 30, and 47. Three first-round picks and a second round.
