Last Thursday, Chris Paul was traded to Oklahoma City Thunder in a deal that sent Russell Westbrook to the Houston Rockets. With the Thunder likely rebuilding, Paul is reportedly seeking a move to a contender. A team that has been mentioned as a top trade destination is the Miami Heat, but a possible OKC-Miami deal will be complicated, according to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst.

Early Saturday morning, the Los Angeles Clippers signed Kawhi Leonard and pulled off a trade for Paul George In a move to acquire George, the Clippers gave up Shai-Gilgeous Alexander, Danilo Gallinari, four unprotected first rounders, a protected first rounder, plus two pick swaps. That’s a lot to give up, but if you have a chance to land Leonard and George, you do it.

BREAKING NEWS: Kawhi Leonard, Paul George to the Los Angeles Clippers

Early this morning, it was confirmed by Adrian Wojnarowski that Kawhi Leonard has chosen to sign with the Los Angeles Clippers, spurning the rival Los Angeles Lakers and the defending champion Toronto Raptors. Later that same minute, Wojnarowski reported that the Oklahoma City Thunder are trading Paul George to L.A. for Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Danilo Gallinari, five first-round picks, and swap rights for two other draft picks.
