Week five was a weird week with a ton of close games and some unexpected winners. The Patriots still hold the top spot but there was a ton of movement throughout the rankings.

Week five of the NFL season did not disappoint, it had everything we come to expect in pro-football. This Sunday’s notebook features a London game, a big performance by a Carolina Panthers running back, Steelers injury worries and another lively performance by Gardner Minshew. The New York Jets had another week to forget.
The football community is discussing which player is worthy as the No.1 overall draft pick for 2020. It’s a conversation that divides opinion and will continue on deep into April 2020. Let’s pause that thought for a moment and reflect on this year’s draft, by looking at the top-four picks, and several noticeable rookies. We get underway with Kyler Murray.
With Week 4 in the books, Liz Pendergraft recaps what we’ve learned about the AFC West quarterbacks so far.
Kyle O’Connell previews this Sunday’s game in London between the Chicago Bears and Oakland Raiders as Khalil Mack faces his old team.
With Vontaze Burfict receiving a season-long suspension following his hit on Sunday, it’s important to look back on the events
Week four of the NFL is behind us and at the quarter mark of the 2019 season, there have been a few surprises. If you had told me before this season that the top two rookie quarterbacks were going to be Gardner Minshew and Daniel Jones, I would have thought you were crazy but here we are. While some household names on offense have struggled, more defensive players were able to make their mark this past week and it was impressive. But that’s enough talk for now, let’s dig into these rankings starting with a couple of honorable mentions.
Vontaze Burfict has developed a reputation across the NFL as a head-hunter. He has previously been suspended six games for multiple instances of “unnecessary roughness” or illegal hits to the head. This time, he’s done for the season. We’ll get to this instance a bit later, but before we do, let’s take a look at his past.
There was a lot movement in my rankings this week but that is a result of it still being early in the season and still finding out the identity of teams. The Giants are the biggest movers this week as they moved up nine spots with the play of Daniel Jones.
Michael Travis Rose previews this Sunday’s matchup between the Oakland Raiders and Minnesota Vikings.
Liz Pendergraft recaps the Kansas City Chiefs’ big victory over the Oakland Raiders last Sunday, headlined by Patrick Mahomes’ spectacular second quarter.
Amidst the rumors of Jalen Ramsey requesting to be traded by the Jacksonville Jaguars, Andersen Pickard looks at five teams that could try to acquire Jalen Ramsey and what a trade could? look like.
