Welcome back to another edition of Cap’n Kielar as I am here to give you my best bets for Week 4 of the college football season. Last week, we did well, hitting on six of the eight bets. Let’s try to keep that momentum going this week as there are some intriguing matchups on this tremendous Saturday.
It’s here, after a two-year-long wait, it’s finally here again, March Madness. Let’s enjoy this moment and win some money.
Welcome back to another edition of Cap’n Kielar’s Best Bets! Let’s try to get back on track as the last time out did not go very well as we went 1-3. Let’s roll with some conference tournament semifinal matchups that are going down tonight!
Javonte Williams broke onto the scene, taking over much of the NCAA. His partner in crime, Michael Carter, needs to be mentioned in that success. Carter’s ability to play a big-play threat in a rotation system is not just valuable for keeping fresh legs, it is also valuable because it fits what many NFL teams operate on nowadays.
While many have improved their draft stock this season, maybe no player has more than Javonte Williams. Even though he is splitting time with Michael Carter for the Tarheels, Williams has made the most of his opportunities. Now, he’s thought of as a mid-day two candidate thanks to his explosiveness and play-style, especially after his game against Miami.
History has proven that there is no perfect formula for drafting NBA players. Of the 26 players in this year’s All-Star Game, 11 were selected 13th or later in the draft. Reserves Nikola Jokic and Khris Middleton fell all the way to the second round. Lottery picks often underwhelm or flame out, while late fliers occasionally transform into role players or even franchise centerpieces.
The 10-12 Tar Heels have struggled in 2020. Can they right the ship and make a miracle run to March Madness?
Paul gives his predictions for the 2019 ACC Coastal Division.
North Carolina and Kentucky are the top seeds for the Midwest bracket. Which teams will advance and which teams will fall to a double-digit seed?
