Football players have pride and want to win games. Injuries have hampered both teams, so many young players got the chance to show what they can do.
The Pittsburgh Steelers played an outstanding game all-around. They made big plays when it mattered most, and that, as always, will win you games.

The 2018 NFL season for the New England Patriots ended with their second Super Bowl victory in three years as they defeated the Los Angles Rams 13-3 in one of the most boring Super Bowls in league history. However, the Patriots will take it, pretty, ugly, or otherwise. This team has a true one game at a time mentality and it showed early on in the season. The Patriots started off the season slow, going just 1-2 in their first three games, with loses to Jacksonville and Detroit on the road. However, the team finished strong, winning 10 of their final 13 games.
In today’s position battle, we will be discussing two young receivers in Marquez Valdes-Scantling of the Green Bay Packers, and N’Keal Harry of the New England Patriots. In 12-team PPR leagues, both players are going in the ninth round per Fantasy Football Calculator with Valdes-Scantling as the WR40 and Harry as the WR43. In his rookie year, Valdes-Scantling finished the year as the WR65. If Harry’s junior season at Arizona State had been his rookie season in the NFL, he would’ve finished as the WR15 for the 2018 season.
The Dallas Cowboys’ 2018 was a journey of two halves. In the first half of the season, they went 3-4 and the offense was struggling, scoring more than 20 points in just two of those games. Then, Jerry Jones pulled a Cowboys’ like move and acquired former Oakland Raiders’ wide receiver Amari Cooper for a 2019 first-round pick. After trading for Cooper, the Cowboys went on to win seven of their last nine games to make the playoffs and win the NFC East title.
Because the Buffalo Bills don’t play in a big market city or have a flashy superstar, people tend to overlook them. They made the playoffs two years ago with a bit of help from Tyler Boyd and Andy Dalton, but last year wasn’t quite as successful. They had a second-year head coach and a rookie quarterback with very little offensive line help. This year there are no excuses. Josh Allen has spent ample time in the Buffalo system to familiarize himself with the expectations of the coaching staff and of the fans. He also has some weapons and some protection now. Everything is set up for another Buffalo playoff appearance, but can they follow through?
With the upcoming NFL season upon us and the 2019 rookie draft has come and gone most people in the offseason have forgotten about those that may have not lived up to the hype of their rookie season in 2018 coming out of the draft. Whether it be the team that drafted them or simply waiting their time on the depth chart, I’ve selected players that should be bought low in dynasty with expectations that 2019 will be their year and value come to fruition.
