The Most Lucky and Unlucky Pitchers of 2019
Luck is a big part of baseball. Whether it be the ball bounding a certain way or even a fielder losing a fly ball in the sun. Here are the most lucky and unlucky pitchers of 2019.

You know the rules: the seven best hitters of the week
Max Kepler – OF Twins
As previously mentioned, the Twins are the best team in the league. The team has won ten of their last eleven, and in result, they are the only team to hold a double-digit lead in their division. This well- balanced team has outstanding pitching from Jose Berrios, Martin Perez, and Jake Odorizzi to complement a line-up that features Jorge Polanco, C.J. Cron, Eddie Rosario, our feature this week; Max Kepler. Kepler led the league this week in average (.588), Slugging (1.118), OPS (1.737), and On-base percentage (.619). The German-born son of two ballet dancers has .276 average in 2019, forty-eight points greater than for his career.
What better way to end Memorial Day than to watch two of the best pitchers in baseball? Clayton Kershaw verse Jacob deGrom.
The Dodgers are coming off a sweep in Pittsburgh against the Pirates and looking to extend their winning streak, while the Mets are coming off a series win against the Detroit Tigers in New York. Both teams will look to stay hot, as their aces battle it out on the mound tonight.
Mets fans have had it rough this year, to say the least. Opening up the year with a 7-3 start, the Kings of Queens felt like Doug Heffernan eating pizza.
Welcome in. Last night felt like more of a tournament type of night. Tonight feels like a great spot to play cash games and tournaments. We have a monster slate of 14-games on deck. Let’s take a look at some core plays we should definitely have some exposure to.
I have decided to join Frank in his “Deep Dive” articles because it’s a great concept that puts a spotlight on underperforming players who aren’t reaching their full potential. Amed Rosario had loads of potential when he got the first call-up but he has fallen out of favor. Let’s dive into it.
Another weekend is upon us and we get to kick it off with plenty of baseball. 15 games all toll on the MLB schedule. Top tier pitching will likely be paid up for so value plays today will be very important to target. Let’s get right into it and go Around the Horn!
In my last offering, I suggested using the Rays’ bulk reliever as a streaming option on Wednesday. Jalen Beeks got the call to follow Ryne Stanek as an opener. The outing wasn’t quite was I was expecting or hoping to see from Beeks.
Last time I did MLB DFS was last Sunday and my Mariners’ stack had a great day against the Indians. Hopefully, today’s picks are just as good and help you guys win some cash. All prices will be DraftKings prices.
We’re back at it again for another edition of Around the Horn, hopefully, your lineups produced last night, plenty of games to breakdown for tonight’s 14 block of games beginning at 7:05 Eastern. We will get to the pitching side of things momentarily, as for targetting offense there are six games with over/under totals of at least nine runs combined. Grab your cleats, get out the pine tar, time to go Around the Horn!
Not too long ago Dominic Smith was a first-round draft pick by the New York Mets. In 2013 the Mets selected him 11th overall. In six seasons in the minors, Dom slashed .296/.361/.426. He and the Mets both expected him to take over the first base job for the Mets on a daily basis. Then reality hit, Dom struggled, and the Mets were again left with a question mark for an everyday productive first baseman.
Happy weekend everyone, in total there are 12 evening games. Mets/ Braves, Yankees/ White Sox, Red Sox/ Orioles, Marlins/ Phillies are being prioritized in this article. Carlos Carrasco is the most obvious choice at pitching as the Indians draw the 2-10 Kansas City Royals. Let’s dig into some picks!
