After a tremendous weekend of college baseball last week in the Regional round of the NCAA Tournament, the Super Regionals are now set. Of the 16 teams to advance to the supers, 11 of them are national seeds, with eight of those hosting a Super Regional.
Selection Monday went down yesterday at noon Eastern Daylight Time, with the field of 64 being announced for the NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament. For the first part of this preview, let’s take a look at the Knoxville, Statesboro, Austin, and Greenville Regionals.
A well-rounded prospect, Virginia Tech’s outfielder had put himself on the map. To be fair, Gavin Cross put himself on scout’s radars after his freshman year.
After a wild weekend, there is a new number one team in college baseball. Texas lost not just once, not just twice, but they lost three times this week.
