Andruw Jones is looking to improve on the 7.3% of the vote he received last year. This is his second year on the ballot and he is not trending in the right direction. That is a shame as he was an amazing centerfielder but will he get that plaque in Cooperstown.

By all accounts, it was a good move for a Mariners franchise which was looking to end a long playoff drought. The price Seattle paid – pitching prospects Kam Mickolio and Chris Tillman, along with reliever George Sherrill and a young Adam Jones – seemed reasonable. That was 11 years ago. That trade is now considered one of the best in Orioles history, vice-versa for the Mariners.
