Joe Heller revisits the three burning questions he penned for the Philadelphia Eagles prior to the 2020 season.
Joe Heller revisits the three burning questions he penned for the Philadelphia Eagles prior to the 2020 season.
The Philadelphia Eagles came into the 2020 season with fairly high expectations especially after trading for Darius Slay. But a vast number of injuries, their big contract quarterback struggling, and internal issues did them in as they finished 4-11-1. Carson Wentz was benched for second-round pick Jalen Hurts in the second half of their Week 13 game versus the Packers. Hurts provided the offense with a bit of a spark and he earned his first win in his first NFL start in Week 14 against the Saints.
Week 15 features a key NFC matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles (4-8-1) and the Arizona Cardinals (7-6). With only three weeks remaining in the regular season, this is a must-win game for both teams. Eagles’ rookie quarterback Jalen Hurts gets his second career start against Kyler Murray and the Cardinals.
In this Week 10 matchup, the 3-4-1 Philadelphia Eagles look to sweep the season series over the 2-7 New York Giants for the fourth year in a row. This comes after the Eagles came back to win the first meeting, 22-21, in Week 7. The Eagles are starting to get healthier, so they will look to make easier work of the lowly Giants.
It is Week 7, fantasy managers. The byes are in full swing and it is more important than ever to have depth on your bench, as you navigate the rough waters of player replacements to keep pace with the rest of your league. Or (if you are one of the lucky few that has not been decimated by injury and lackluster performances), to keep that lead. It is time for another rousing round of fantasy football “Believe it or Not?”
The Baltimore Ravens squeaked out a 30-28 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. Both teams were in need of a win to keep pace within their divisions. Despite jumping out to a 24-6 lead late in the third quarter, the Ravens allowed Carson Wentz and the Eagles to storm back. After a one-yard touchdown dive by Wentz to pull Philadelphia to within two, the two-point attempt would be stopped short, allowing John Harbaugh’s team to survive and advance to 5-1 on the season.
In what was expected to be more of a low-scoring, defensive game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Pittsburgh Steelers turned out to be a shootout. The game took a few momentum swings, with the Steelers ultimately pulling away 38-29.
In the battle of Pennsylvania, the 1-2-1 Philadelphia Eagles travel to Heinz Field to take on the 3-0 Pittsburgh Steelers. The Steelers are coming off a “bye week” after their game against the Tennesse Titans was postponed due to positive COVID-19 tests.
Welcome back. Last week was rather profitable for Cash Games. We were able to pinpoint some solid matchups and most of them came through. Let’s keep the good times rolling and keep your bankroll building.
On Thursday, the Miami Dolphins pulled off the upset over the Jacksonville Jaguars, winning 31-13. Despite being three-point underdogs, the Dolphins had a controlling wire to wire victory over the Jaguars. Hopefully, tomorrow’s games are filled with underdog upsets like the one on Thursday night.
Even when this game was close at times, it was owned by the Rams from start to finish. Los Angeles
