Ah yes, if you read the title, it tells you a lot about this game. The famed Wiz Khalifa song, “We Dem Boyz”, has been a rallying tune amongst fans since the song came out in 2014. No, not the fight song, simply a rallying tune. Of course, like any Cowboys-related content, it’s been memed. Whether or not it’s funny is up to the reader.
The Lions came into this game thinking that a Chicago offense lead by Mitchell Trubisky would at least put a band-aid on the problems that were on the defensive side. It turned out not to be true. While Trubisky only threw for 145 yards, the Lions secondary allowed him to throw for three touchdowns, and that’s all the Bears needed in a 20-13 victory over Detroit.
I thought maybe this would be the week where quarterbacks didn’t dominate this report, but sadly that is not the case. So without further comment let’s take a look at some players with injury issues both good and bad heading into the main slate of week ten games.
The Lions traveled to Oakland in their last season at the Colosseum. The plan was to use an Air-Raid offense (like Arizona’s) to sink the Raiders’ ship in the Black Hole for one last time. Instead, Jon Gruden utilized Derek Carr to do exactly what Matthew Stafford was supposed to do- raid the secondary and win the game.
To help fantasy football players with their roster construction, three of our writers have provided some insight on which players they would start, would sit, and consider a sleeper for week nine. Be sure to follow all of them on twitter and ask any of The Scorecrow’s fantasy writers for fantasy advice.
All my plays are based on DraftKings pricing. It’s also important to note that when I list a player as a fade, I do not mean I will have 0% of them, but I will be way under the field as far as exposure goes, and likely will not play them on single entry lineups.
At 2-3-1, division and/or playoff hopes seem far-fetched. Not many teams, if any, come back from 2-5 (or 2-4-1) to play meaningful football in January. But, .500 teams after week eight still have a chance, and the Lions had a chance to get back into the race with that record.

We’ll also see Kirk Cousins look to continue his hot streak in a revenge game against the Washington Redskins. We’re almost at the half-way point of the season and hopefully, you are contending in your leagues. If not, it’s time to turn the season around. On to the rankings!
