In part 1 I covered injury news for four of the teams scheduled to play on wildcard weekend. In Part 2 the remaining four teams are covered. Going into today, the team with perhaps the best news on injuries is the Baltimore Ravens.
The Chargers are just one game behind the Chiefs for first place in the AFC West and they lay tonight for the best record in the AFC. The Chiefs are 11-2, the Chargers are 10-3. Chiefs escaped with wins in the last two weeks against the Oakland Raiders in week 13 and the Baltimore Ravens last week in overtime. The Chargers won in Pittsburgh and didn’t play well against the Bengals but escaped that game with a win
Philip Rivers is arguably the most underrated and underappreciated quarterback of all-time. When talking about elite QBs, and all-time great QBs, many people mention the likes of Drew Brees, Tom Brady, Brett Favre, Kurt Warner, Aaron Rodgers, Ben Roethlisberger, even Eli Manning, but they never mention Philp Rivers. Those other QBs have at least one championship, but, this could be the season Philip Rivers and the Chargers make the super bowl and win it all.
The Los Angeles Chargers are coming off yet another victory in week 10. They are 7-2 heading into week 11. Joey Bosa is back and will play on a snap count today against the Denver Broncos. When Bosa and Melvin Ingram are on the field at the same time, they tend to wreak havoc. It is great news for the Chargers and exciting news for the fans. Whenever an elite player comes back from injury, it’s always a plus, especially when your team is on the verge of 1st place in the AFC.
The Los Angeles Chargers are currently 6-2 and one of the hottest teams in the NFL right now. They have a good defensive team and an explosive offense led by Philip Rivers. DE Joey Bosa is set to return soon and adding an elite player like Bosa to a defense that allows just 18 points a game is scary.
We are officially one month away from the fantasy playoffs so it is time to get in those waiver wire pickups and make those trades that are going to launch your team into the playoffs with a vengeance. There are still some high profile players available that need to be scooped up this week so do not miss out on what could be your last opportunity to add some weekly starters. The following waiver wire adds reflect a $100 Free Agent Acquisition Budget (FAAB).
We’re now five weeks into the season, but teams are still surprising fans with some shocking performances and surprise flops.
Two weeks down in the NFL season and we have some big movers and shakers in the Power 16. Plenty of new teams have entered and some familiar faces have moved out. Let’s take a look at who is in and who is out!
Week one is officially in the books and to the surprise of no one, there were fireworks everywhere. As is normally the case, week one brought about upsets, disappointments and shocking performances. With that said it’s time to see who were the biggest movers in the week two addition of The Scorecrow NFL Power 16.
To quote the great Phil Collins, “I can feel it coming in the air tonight”. That’s right, the NFL season is upon us and what better way to get things started then with the initial installment of The Scorecrow Sports NFL Power Sixteen.
The Los Angeles Chargers as they are now known always seem to be in the mix for the AFC West. Sometimes they are touted as a contender for the AFC crown. This year is no different as far as expectations, but can they realize their potential?
