Rolling right along with the 2021-2022 NHL season, November is officially upon us. With a month of every team’s campaigns now in the rearview mirror, crunch time is upon us.
What a year it was for the Minnesota Wild. After a season that went beyond many fans’ expectations and the long-awaited debut of Calder Trophy winner Kirill Kaprizov, it was quite the whirlwind for the Wild during the 2020-21 season.
In a season where expectations were low, the Minnesota Wild surpassed those expectations and more. The Wild were in the fight for first in the Pacific Division until the bitter end with the Vegas Golden Knights and the Colorado Avalanche. In the end, they finished third in the division and entered an intense playoff series with the Golden Knights.
Prospects are always a hot commodity around the National Hockey League, overseas in Europe, in Canadian junior hockey, and in the United States. As we look towards the start of next season, there are several elite-level prospects ready to burst onto the scene at the NHL level. Here’s my ranking of the top-10 prospects heading into 2020-21.
