Toronto Blue Jays 2021 Season Preview
The Toronto Blue Jays had a down 2020 season and are ready to bounce back this year. They’ll look to vastly improve on the 32-28 record they posted last year in Dunedin, Fla.

The San Diego Padres put the league on notice last season. They finished with the best winning percentage in team history (37-23, .617) and made the playoffs for the first time since 2006. Ready to battle the Los Angeles Dodgers for the NL West crown for the next few years, what can they do to take the next step?
The upstart Chicago White Sox made the playoffs for the first time since 2008. Unfortunately for the young squad, they lost in the best-of-three opening series to the Oakland Athletics. However, they did show baseball what they are capable of and put the league on notice that they aren’t going away any time soon.
The San Diego Padres are 5-2, but if they want to continue playing playoff-caliber baseball, their bullpen needs to improve immediately.
Relievers should be judged on a far different scale than starters. Here are the best of the best as of now.
The San Diego Padres entered the 2019 season with fairly low, but also promising expectations, so their 70-92 record is a bit disappointing but also somewhat expected. The Padres signing of stud third baseman Manny Machado in the offseason skyrocketed their expectations, and their young core led by shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. and pitcher Chris Paddack gave them a look at their bright future. Their ultimate fallout was their young players and older players not being compatible enough to play well together, and their bullpen struggles. One big problem was also communication issues between the manager and the team, as the Padres fired Andy Green before the season even ended. Now let’s get further into the Padres season.
Each year, IBWAA members cast their votes for end-of-season awards. In his first year as a member of the association, Andersen Pickard shares and explains who he voted for.
