Welcome back to the Saturday edition of my NBA DFS Picks. My goal with this article is to walk you through the games to find which places we should attack this seven-game slate. You will also pick up some research tips along the way. You will see me make reference to on/off stats as well as rotations. You can find those free tools at NBAWowy and PopcornMachine.net. What would a possible Karl-Anthony Towns trade to the Celtics look like? It is possible? Who would win the trade?
The 2015 draft class has progressed to the point where the players have made their names in the league and NBA fans now know who’s relevant and who isn’t. Players like Karl-Anthony Towns, D’Angelo Russell, Ben Simmons, and Kristaps Porzingis define the 2015 NBA Draft Class and have solidified themselves in the league. One name that was thought to be a bust until this season is the third overall pick, Jahlil Okafor. The star big man came off a national championship team with Duke University in 2015.
As a basketball fan, I’ve always found the NBA All-Star Weekend to be one of the more interesting times of the year. It allows me to watch the top talents of the league play without putting me in a position to seriously root for or against either team. It puts all of the league’s best players in a one-game situation where it’s the best of the best against the best of the best. It immortalizes otherwise-forgotten players such as Jason Kapono and Jeremy Evans through the Three-Point Contest and the Slam Dunk Contest. But perhaps the most important thing it does is recognize, in a semi-official capacity, who the best standout performers in the NBA are in any given season.

Despite being less than a month old, the 2018-19 NBA season has not been short of drama. We’ve had breakout stars, surprise teams, sensational, even tear-jerking individual performances, and a punch-up between two of league’s highest-profile teams. Now, just when it appeared that the dust had settled after frantic opening few weeks, the basketball world has been turned upside down once again, with All-Star Jimmy Butler being traded by the Minnesota Timberwolves to the Philadelphia 76ers. It was never going to be a dull season, was it?
