The Houston Rockets spent the 2020-21 NBA season beginning their rebuild. They moved on from head coach Mike D’antoni, general manager Daryl Morey stepped down and franchise cornerstone James Harden was traded.
Within the past week, rumors have circulated that current point guard John Wall of the Houston Rockets wants a trade. Houston acquired Wall last offseason as part of the Russell Westbrook deal with the Washington Wizards.
The Houston Rockets had a fire sale of a season. The biggest story that came from Houston was the saga of James Harden. In the 2020 offseason, it was made clear that Harden wanted out of Houston.

However, those hopes were squashed with Kawhi Leonard’s lucky bounce at the buzzer in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Soon after, both Butler and Harris were headed towards free agency with their futures in Philadelphia becoming uncertain.
Team Giannis led by as many as 19, but Damian Lillard and Kawhi Leonard brought Team LeBron back before Kevin Durant closed out the game with some crucial threes to give Team LeBron the win for the second straight year.
