The Chicago Cubs won the World Series in 2016 and it looked like they were starting a long run of playing in October annually. Fast forward six years and their core is gone.
The New York Mets have been one of the oddest teams in baseball this season. After a change in ownership prior to the offseason, their mantra changed quite a bit and was expected to be one of the most aggressive teams in spending and trading.
There are a few options on the market for the New York Mets. One, however, seems like a perfect fit.
