There are multiple schools with more than one offensive lineman that will go high in the 2022 NFL Draft.
The list for this week was a tough one as there were not too many deserving players. None of the rookie quarterbacks had impressive games. Roughly half of the players listed below have made the cut the last few weeks. There are two nice surprises rounding out the order. Let’s take a look at the 10 best rookies in the Week 4 NFL Rookie Rankings.
The Cincinnati Bengals began the Joe Burrow era in a rough way. After nine very well played games by the No.1 overall pick, Burrow tore his ACL in the 10th game. As a whole, the team finished off 4-11-1 and had a busy offseason checklist. Looking forward, the Bengals are in hopes to reach their first playoffs since 2015, but it will be quite a challenge.
Jackson Carman is a huge left tackle that has protected Trevor Lawrence’s blindside for the last two years. As soon as you watch Carman play, you notice his serious power. At 325 pounds, Carman can put guys through the floor.
Mike Zimmer and Rick Spielman have 10 picks in the 2021 NFL draft, beginning with the 14th-overall selection, to fix some glaring weaknesses on the Minnesota Vikings’ roster. Most of those picks come from trades, with the mid-season deal to send Yannick Ngakoue to the Baltimore Ravens netting a third-round choice.
Patrick Mahomes will hope Andy Reid and the Kansas City Chiefs fortify a shaky offensive line during the 2021 NFL Draft. Last season’s runners-up need to get better at protecting the franchise after Mahomes was brutalized by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Super Bowl LV.
