We are back again for MLB DFS on a Saturday with the August 2 trade deadline steamrolling closer.
We have performed pretty well of late and today we return with some favorite picks for the early slate that begins at 1:07 p.m. EST. The early slate consists of a small five games, but it still has plenty of chance to win some cash. Let’s take a look at where to spend up and where to look for value.
The Kansas City Royals concluded their opening week series against the Texas Rangers on Sunday. After an historic win on Opening Day, the Royals were able to clinch a series victory on Saturday with an 11-4 win.
As the MLB Hot Stove starts heating up with the Winter Meetings underway, The Kansas City Royals sign Carlos Santana to a two-year deal worth $17.5 million per Jon Heyman.
The Kansas City Royals finished the season 59-103. While they weren’t in the basement of the American League Central, they did have the fourth-worst record in the Major Leagues. This bodes well as they will have the fourth pick in the Amateur Draft come June of 2020. The Royals are going to need prospects like that to pan out if they hope to reach the pinnacle of the sport as they did just four years ago.
