Happy weekend everyone. Saturday will have a nice helping of games, for tonight we just have four games on the docket to choose from. Florida Panthers at Calgary Flames could provide offensive fireworks for us, this game, as well as Detroit Red Wings at Winnipeg Jets, have a combined team total of 6.5 goals. The Colorado Avalanche were one of the top stories last season. After having just 48 points in a miserable 2016-2017 season, the Avs bounced back with making the playoffs last spring. Blackhawks beat Pittsburgh again. What about other active winning streaks?

Pittsburgh Penguins won eight straight games going to Sunday night, but as soon as they learned Their opponent would be, the Penguins knew the streak would come to an end. The Blackhawks defeated the Penguins for tenth straight time and in comeback fashion. The Pens scored two early goals to jump to a 2-0 lead, but Chicago came back to win 5-3 to offer a little bit of consolation for fans from Windy City.
