Any season that ends without hoisting the Commissioner’s Trophy for the New York Yankees is considered a disappoint. So when the Yankees lost to the Astros in six games in the American League Championship Series, there was obviously a lot of disappointment. But that doesn’t mean it was a complete and utter failure of a 2019 season. Let’s delve further into the Yankees’ 2019 season and what to look forward to for 2020.
Game Four of the ALCS was supposed to be last night. Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans. What the change in schedule does for us though is it gives us a rematch of the Game One starters. It will be cool at Yankee Stadium tonight, and the wind will be blowing out toward the short right-field porch at about 16 mph. There should be a few souvenirs for the fans in those seats tonight.

If you’re a contender, the right trade could propel you over the top to reach the ultimate goal of winning a World Series. Buyer beware, the wrong trade could also set your franchise back tremendously for years to come.
