This Monday Night game does not really have much excitement in terms of teams making the playoffs. The Pittsburg Steelers could still go on a run and make the playoffs but it’s a long shot. The Miami Dolphins, however, are winless on the season. That does not mean there is not still money to be won and fantasy players still playing. Here are my best players in this potentially ugly Monday Night contest.

Well back again to go into week eight of the NFL season and you’re either sitting comfortably or barley hanging on hope to get into the playoffs. To help fantasy football players with their roster construction, three of our writers have provided some insight on which players they would start, would sit, and consider a sleeper for week eight. Be sure to follow all of them on twitter and ask any of The Scorecrow’s fantasy writers for fantasy advice.
Thursday night’s game between the Washington Redskins and Minnesota Vikings wasn’t as entertaining as we had hoped. The Vikings won the game 19-9 as the two teams combined for just one touchdown but seven field goals. In most places, the line was Vikings -16.5 and they didn’t come close to covering it. Despite Case Keenum leaving the game at halftime because of a concussion, the Vikings outscored the Redskins by just three points in the second half. Needless to say, anyone who backed the Vikings -16.5 was left very disappointed in Kirk Cousins and the Vikings’ effort in the second half.

All my plays are based on DraftKings pricing. Its also important to note that when I list a player as a fade, I do not mean I will have 0% of them, but I will be way under the field as far as exposure goes, and likely will not play them on single entry lineups.

I’ll touch back before Sunday with a rundown of who I’ll be targeting in cash games. For now, we’ll take a look at the current Vegas odds (as of writing this) and touch on some potential spots we can exploit. This is all subject to change. The sole purpose is to help you gather ideas and get started on your research process. In future weeks, this article will mostly come out on Wednesday.

The Los Angeles Rams came out looking solid this season starting out 3-0. However, they did experience some turbulence dropping three straight afterward. It was a turn of events that led to them landing star cornerback Jalen Ramsey and reigniting their team.
The Lions lost again to the Vikings, putting their season record to 2-3-1. I brought in a Fantasy Football and Giants expert, @TheMaj_NFL, to break down the upcoming game against New York.
This game does not seem very interesting just based on each team’s record. The Minnesota Vikings are 5-2 and the Washington Redskins are 1-6. However, this is a revenge game for Vikings starting quarterback Kirk Cousins. He faces his former team where he played for six seasons. It is also a revenge game for Adrian Peterson as he faces the Vikings where he played for ten seasons. Here are my top players in this NFC matchup.
Last week’s Thursday night game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos wasn’t much of a contest. Despite the Chiefs losing star quarterback Patrick Mahomes in the second quarter with a dislocated kneecap, the Broncos didn’t score after the opening drive and went on to lose 30-6. Hopefully, tonight’s game between the Washington Redskins and Minnesota Vikings is more entertaining, but I wouldn’t get my hopes up.
Week seven has come and gone and given us another batch of rookie performances with a few new faces. Rookie defenders across the league stepped up their game two weeks ago and last week was no different as the top of the leader board was full of defensive players. Which guys stepped up this week? Who slipped up? Find out right here and right now with our rookie rankings. Let’s get started with a couple of honorable mentions.
After finishing the 2018 regular season with an 11-5 record, the Houston Texans seemed destined to maneuver their way through the playoff picture and wind up as an underdog to win the Super Bowl. The team finished the 2018 season losing to the Indianapolis Colts 21-7 in front of their home crowd in NRG Stadium on January 5th in the wild card round. Not only did the team lose in the first round of the playoffs, but star quarterback, Deshaun Watson was also sacked an insurmountable 62 times in 2018, fifth-most in NFL history. Most Texans fans knew that this wasn’t going to be their year, and were already looking forward to the off-season where they would potentially add talent, and enter the 2019 season with high hopes. Little did they know, the team would undergo a massive reconstruction during the off-season and early weeks of the 2019 season.
