On Thursday night, a sloppy game in every aspect ended with the Philadelphia Eagles (2-4-1) pulling off an 11-point comeback against the New York Giants (1-6) to emerge with a 22-21 win. Carson Wentz quieted the doubters and haters by leading a team that was down to practice squad players to victory.

The Baltimore Ravens squeaked out a 30-28 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. Both teams were in need of a win to keep pace within their divisions. Despite jumping out to a 24-6 lead late in the third quarter, the Ravens allowed Carson Wentz and the Eagles to storm back. After a one-yard touchdown dive by Wentz to pull Philadelphia to within two, the two-point attempt would be stopped short, allowing John Harbaugh’s team to survive and advance to 5-1 on the season.
For this week’s Sunday night matchup on NBC, the Eagles travel to the west coast to take on the 49ers at Levi’s Stadium. This is the first matchup between the two since 2017 when Philadelphia bested San Francisco 33-10.
