Asher Wojciechowski has bumped around the league for years. Finally, at age 30 he might get the starts he needs to make an impact on fantasy baseball teams. Playing for a horrible Orioles team this year, Asher has finally gotten his shot and so far as made the most of it. In five games and four starts he has posted a 1-3 record with a 12.13 K/9, 1.04 WHIP and 3.91 ERA. He can become a potential player who wins you your fantasy leagues, but of course there are some risks.

The MLB All-Star break is upon us and I felt like I needed to update my rotisserie rankings. Below are all qualified pitchers (89.2 IP minimum) with their underlying numbers as well as some significant stats we use for fantasy. There are 78 pitchers on the list and by using the rotisserie point system here is how they would be ranked. Please note as there are a hundred other things you should look at before analyzing a pitcher but this gives us a nice base to start with.

The Best Pitchers on Your Waiver Wire

When one of our pitchers go down due to injury or one of our pitchers just aren’t working out we all have to work the waiver wire. Below are the best pitchers that are owned under 30% via Yahoo. I split them into categories as certain pitchers can help more than others based on what type of league you are in (ex. points, categories, and rotisserie). Please note all stats are as of June 7th.

Welcome in. Hopefully you were able to cash last night with some of the plays provided in yesterday’s article. Stephen Piscotty and Jonathan Lucroy came up huge for me and I was able to turn in a decent profit, cashing in 84% of cash games last night. Hopefully we can strike gold again. Let’s take a look at some players to target for tonight’s 13-game slate.
