Whether your team is 0-4 or 4-0, you can’t get lazy and accept the record. Fantasy owners need to be active in trade talks, waiver wire adds, and reflect on what they did wrong during the draft. So what have we learned over the first quarter of the NFL season fantasy wise? The Scorecrow family is here to help with all that, putting together another roundtable giving you their opinions on five fantasy football questions. In May of 2018, the Supreme Court ruled that the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act violated the Constitution’s 10th Amendment. Without boring you guys with all the legal terms and meaning, it simply means each state can allow sports gambling if they wish. Since then sports betting has exploded, along with daily fantasy. Neither of us are professional gamblers nor know everything there is to sports betting, but it’s always fun to have some money on the line when watching the games.
Well, this is it. This is what we’ve all been waiting for. NFL football is back baby! Of course, we had the Chicago versus Green Bay game on Thursday night to kick off the season, but that was simply a tease. A low scoring defensive battle with one touchdown over the course of the game. Sure, it was a good football game (not the outcome I wanted being a Bears fan), but not at all what fantasy players were hoping for either. There will be a lot more action and points today, guaranteed. Cash games have been an area we can find an edge when it pertains to daily fantasy football. Every year new players jump aboard the always rolling DFS train. Luckily for you, most of the new players will be applying what they know about season-long fantasy into DFS. That’s not a terrible strategy, but it can lead to bad habits or skipping over important details. By putting in the extra effort and taking in as much as you can, you’re already winning. With all of that said, let’s kick off this season the right way. Take a stroll with me and look at some options to target for Week 1 DFS Cash Games.

In one of the closest position battles out there between two tier two tight ends provide an opportunity to provide fantasy points on your roster when you pass on Travis Kelce, Zach Ertz, and George Kittle. With both Hunter Henry and Even Engram in offenses that should produce targets, they have the capability to be top tight ends at the end of the season. According to Fantasy Football Calculator, Engram has an ADP of 5.09 (TE5) while Henry has an ADP of 6.04 (TE6) makes for an interesting choice during the draft process. Let’s look at some positives and negatives for both players at their current ADPs.
