The Detroit Tigers, also known as the team I wrote my debut article about, and the team that’s closest to me had a rough year. To say the least. A season that looked promising turned out to be furthest away from that, and the injury bug had its way with this rebuilding team. Were playoffs in the question? In May of 2018, the Supreme Court ruled that the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act violated the Constitution’s 10th Amendment. Without boring you guys with all the legal terms and meaning, it simply means each state can allow sports gambling if they wish. Since then sports betting has exploded, along with daily fantasy. Neither of us are professional gamblers nor know everything there is to sports betting, but it’s always fun to have some money on the line when watching the games.

That’s the baseball DFS grind. And believe me, it is a grind. But there is no time to dwell on the past. Tonight looks like a fun slate to wipe the slate clean and get back to our winning ways. I remixed the song just for this slate. – “Saturday in the ballpark, it feels like the Fourth of July.” I’m expecting all of our home runs to be fair and fireworks to follow. With September looming and pennant races tightening, it’s almost time for major league rosters to expand from 25 to 40. So I am going to give you a series of articles breaking down the likely most impactful September Call-Ups for all 30 teams. Now for the American League Central.

The 2019 MLB season is now in its stretch run, closing out the final year of this decade. So I thought it would be fun to put together a team of the best players by position for the 2010s All-Decade Team. A couple picks are definitely no-brainers, with others being tougher to come to a decision. Without further ado, here we go. Let the arguments commence.
If you played Nicholas Castellanos last night, you were able to enjoy a solid outburst, including an opposite-field first-inning home run. Oppo Tacos are very much welcomed, especially on Tuesdays. Don’t be fooled, as long as a home run still equals fantasy points, we will take home runs of any variety. Pull shots, moonshots, wall scrapers, and of course opposite-field blasts otherwise known as oppo tacos.
