NFL Power Rankings: Week Seven
There was a ton of movement in the weekly rankings this week. The one constant in the NFL seems to be the Patriots while the 49ers are legit and the Ravens might be the biggest threat to the Patriots in the AFC.

If we could describe this 42-30 loss to Kirk Cousins and the Minnesota Vikings in one word, the word in the title would describe it best. Woof.
If you’re reading this, you’re in a mood. Either an amazing mood, as the Packers walk away with a 23-22 victory over the Lions, or a mood as only Stephen A. Smith could describe, which is the mood of most Lions fans-including yours truly. We feel like the Herman’s Hermits line that was in this title, “Oh me, oh my”, we’re Leaning on the Lamp Post. It’s something that happens year after year with this team. From the batted ball against Seattle to the 10-second runoff against Atlanta, and do I even mention the picked up Pass Interference Flag against Dallas in the playoffs? The list goes on and on.
Week seven fantasy streamers are here! The four teams on bye this week are the Browns, Buccaneers, Panthers, and Steelers. Here are some options you can use to replace players at quarterback, tight end, defense/special teams, and kicker.
We have another primetime divisional matchup. The Green Bay Packers are looking to win and stay on top of the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC North. The Detroit Lions need to win or they will drop to the last place in the division. Here are my top players in this Monday Night NFC North slugfest.
Michael Travis Rose previews the Sunday Night Football game between the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers.
The Lions are coming off the Bye Week and the Packers are coming off an impressive victory in Dallas. I brought in @alex_strouf, from 90FM Sports Wisconsin, to break down the Monday Night Showdown.
Week five was a weird week with a ton of close games and some unexpected winners. The Patriots still hold the top spot but there was a ton of movement throughout the rankings.
Week four of the NFL is behind us and at the quarter mark of the 2019 season, there have been a few surprises. If you had told me before this season that the top two rookie quarterbacks were going to be Gardner Minshew and Daniel Jones, I would have thought you were crazy but here we are. While some household names on offense have struggled, more defensive players were able to make their mark this past week and it was impressive. But that’s enough talk for now, let’s dig into these rankings starting with a couple of honorable mentions.
The Detroit Lions fought hard and forced a close game on Sunday, but the Kansas City Chiefs were able to pull off the win to stay undefeated, writes Rachel Coltz.
Ah yes, it was a duel of top-tier QBs in Detroit this afternoon. Matthew Stafford took on Patrick Mahomes in a battle that Lions fans won’t forget, but may want to. A day that looked promising early, and even late, turned for the worse as Darrel Williams crossed the goal line to seal the deal for the Chiefs.
The first quarter of the NFL season will be over after the Monday night game between the Steelers and Bengals. It has been a big name injury fest to this point for sure. We have already lost several big-name quarterbacks and other players for the season. Thursday night football saw one player from each side taken from the field and transported to the hospital for further evaluation. Let’s take a look at some of the injuries from the last week as we get ready for the action to complete the first quarter of the season.
