Throughout the month of January, I will be ranking the top ten NFL players at each position. These rankings will be solely based on performance in the regular season and will not include any injured players. The positions of players were determined from ESPN.
Merry Christmas, everyone! Hopefully, you got to spend yesterday with loved ones and enjoy the performance Alvin Kamara put on. He tied an NFL record with six rushing touchdowns against the Minnesota Vikings. Kamara was -225 to score once, and if you had the guts to bet him to score three times, you made out great.
The Houston Texans (4-8) travel to the Windy City to take on the Chicago Bears (5-7). These two teams have been on opposite trajectories throughout the 2020 season.
For most redraft leagues, playoffs begin next week, which likely means that your trade deadline is passed. However, for those with deadlines still looming, here are players you should look to buy and sell heading into Week 13.
The Houston Texans will spend their holiday in Detroit, MI as they face the Lions in the latter’s traditional Thanksgiving Day game, kicking off Week 12 of the NFL.
Another year, another Detroit Lions game to kick off Thanksgiving. This year the 3-7 Houston Texans head to Detroit to take on the 4-6 Lions. Except for a six-year span due to World War II, the Lions have played on Thanksgiving every year since 1934. They have a 37-41-2 record on Thanksgiving but have lost their last three games on the holiday.
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, and hopefully, you can spend it with family and friends. As much as we all love the food, the thing we are most thankful for today is football. Usually, with only one game a week on Thursday, there is only one article. However, with two games on because of Thanksgiving, I am doing a separate breakdown for each game. In the first game, we have the Houston Texans taking on the Detroit Lions.
Riding a two-game win streak, the New England Patriots came out slow Sunday afternoon and dropped a crucial game to the Houston Texans. After an impressive defensive showing last week against the Ravens, Deshaun Watson repeatedly torched New England’s secondary, finishing with 380 total yards and three touchdowns. Cam Newton and the Patriots had a chance to tie the game with less than a minute left but came up short yet again.
This game wasn’t what most people expected. The Houston Texans and Cleveland Browns faced off in what most thought would be a higher scoring affair.
The Houston Texans (2-6) are headed to Ohio to take on the Cleveland Browns (5-3). Houston has not had a great start to the season, and things aren’t going to get any easier as the Browns are fresh off a Week 9 bye.
The Jacksonville Jaguars were close to an upset over the Texans but fell just short. Houston won by a score of 27-25 in a high-powered offensive battle. The Jaguars lose their seventh-straight game, albeit there were some very impressive plays from Jacksonville.
