After barely missing the playoffs in 2019, the Dallas Cowboys were expected to return to the postseason in 2020. However, injuries derailed the Cowboys season before it could get off the ground.
Entering the 2020 NFL season, the Dallas Cowboys had great expectations and lots of potential. Unfortunately, 2020 was a heartbreaking disappointment and Dallas finished 6-10 and again missed the playoffs.
Entering the 2020 NFL season, the Detroit Lions were unlikely to make the playoffs. However, they had expectations to push for a Wild Card spot. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen as the team started the season 3-3 but finished 5-11 after losing four straight games to end the year. After their embarrassing loss to the Houston Texans on Thanksgiving, head coach Matt Patricia and general manager Bob Quinn were fired. The biggest question for their replacements is: what to do with Matthew Stafford?
The answer is yes, but only one team can mathematically pull it off. That team is the New York Giants. Here’s the scenario where 6-10 wins the NFC East.
In the early window of Sunday games, Andy Dalton threw for 209 yards and two touchdowns as Dallas Cowboys cruised to a 41-33 win against the San Francisco 49ers in Arlington, Tex.
Coming off of two straight losses to the Buffalo Bills and Washington Football Team in succession, the San Francisco 49ers will look to keep their playoff hopes alive in Arlington against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday afternoon. It’s rare for a 49ers-Cowboys game to be flexed out of a primetime slot, but that’s exactly what has happened for this Week 15 matchup. The rivalry game was originally scheduled to be this week’s Sunday Night Football contest, but due to the lack of playoff implications, the NFL’s hand was forced.
Here’s a look back at the week that was Week 14 in the NFL.
The Cincinnati Bengals (2-9-1) host the Dallas Cowboys (3-9) in a matchup of disappointing 2020 teams playing with backup quarterbacks. This could be one of the most entertaining games this weekend between a pair of teams that have nothing to lose.
In 2020 it feels like we have football every Tuesday. Tonight the 3-8 Dallas Cowboys taking on the 6-5 Baltimore Ravens. The Cowboys need to win this game to keep pace with the New York Giants in the NFC East. Meanwhile, the Ravens are currently 1.5 games out of the final AFC Wild Card spot. A loss to the Cowboys would seriously hamper the Ravens’ chances of making the postseason.
Here’s a look back at the week that was Week 12.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Hopefully, you can spend today with family and friends while stuffing your face full of food, and most of all, watching football! Unfortunately, the NFL rescheduled tonight’s game between the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers because of multiple positive Covid-19 cases in the Ravens’ organization. However, we still have two great games today.
Hello, and happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate. For those who don’t, happy “let’s make some money” day. Although there Ravens vs Steelers game has been pushed back because of Covid, we still have some NFL games to bet on, and maybe, if everyone behaves, we will have a bonus College basketball pick.
