Welcome back to my weekly college football game picks and locks! Last week, I struggled with my locks, going 4-4. That makes me 11-7 (61.1% success rate) on the year. I’m out for redemption this week. I’ve got eight more locks for you guys this week.
Paul previews some of college football’s week 8 games and gives his locks for the week.
In this article, we will break down some of this week’s biggest upcoming games in the Non-Power 5 Conferences.
This week, I’m going to introduce a new “segment”, if you will, to this article. This is inspired by “Bear’s Bank” on College Gameday. The Bear has such a poor picking record at picking spreads that I decided I must take it into my own hands to challenge him. So obviously, he’s a few weeks ahead of me, so this week I will pick 10 of my locks for this week and see if I can eventually have a better record than Chris Fallica and claim my throne. To make sure the article isn’t too long, I will do separate articles for my locks and my game picks.
Michigan got back on track last week, beating Rutgers 52-0 and chasing Chris Ash from his position in Piscataway. This week, Michigan takes on an Iowa team looking for a big victory on the road.
CFB Game Picks
Welcome back to another week of picking the college football games. Let’s shoot for under 10 losses this week.
I took a casual poll on whether or not college athletes should be paid or compensated when their respective university uses their image or likeness. The results were not as I expected. Out of about 100 people who responded, 72 of them said that college athletes should not be paid. This sample included people who had played and who were passionate about college athletics, people who were recently out of college and people who have been graduated for a long time. I personally voted that they should be compensated for their image being used for marketing or recruiting and in a way, they are with scholarships. But we all know that scholarships can only help so much.
Paul talks about five college football teams that you should consider jumping on the bandwagon for.
Welcome back to another week of college football picks! I’m hoping to recover from a relatively poor week of picking last week after a great week one. I’m picking teams to win, not to cover the spread. Let’s get into it.
Last week was a pretty solid week. I went 55-13 with most of my losses being because I picked the underdog. My goal this week is to get under 10 incorrect. Let’s do it.
