College Football Game Picks: Week Four

Givanni Damico | September 21st, 2019

Welcome back to another week of college football picks! I’m hoping to recover from a relatively poor week of picking last week after a great Week One. I’m picking teams to win, not to cover the spread. Let’s get into it.

11 Michigan at 13 Wisconsin -3.5

My Pick: Wisconsin

Michigan had major struggles against the Army Black Knights and didn’t even look too sharp against Middle Tennessee State. I don’t see how they’re going to be able to score against Wisconsin unless Dylan McCaffrey gets into this game. Shea Patterson isn’t a playmaker and he would have to play lights out football to have a chance to win.

8 Auburn at 17 Texas A&M -4

My Pick: Texas A&M

I was impressed with Bo Nix when he led the comeback against Oregon, but I haven’t been impressed with him since. Kellen Mond of A&M is an inconsistent player but when he’s hot, he’s red hot. Auburn’s offense will not be able to get it going against the Aggies defense today.

Oklahoma State at 12 Texas -7

My Pick: Texas

Despite Texas being favored in this game, everybody is raving about how Oklahoma State is 5-0 in their last five games in Austin. While that is a very impressive streak, today is the day that it ends. Oklahoma State doesn’t play much defense and that’s going to come back to bite them. Sam Ehlinger will be able to throw for 400 yards today and Texas wins the football game, but Oklahoma State covers the spread.

7 Notre Dame at 3 Georgia -14.5

My Pick: Georgia

Georgia outweighs the Irish in almost every category on the field. Enough said.

Tennessee at 9 Florida -13.5

My Pick: Florida

Tennessee covers the spread.

15 UCF -10.5 at Pittsburgh

My Pick: UCF

Dillon Gabriel is an elite playmaker.

22 Washington -6.5 at BYU

My Pick: BYU

Jacob Eason has proven to be hit-or-miss so far this year, so if the BYU defense comes to play, it’s their game to lose.
