Joey’s Labor Day ADP Values, Sleepers, and Busts: Running Backs

Welcome back to the next edition of my Labor Day fantasy football mini-series. This time, we’ll take a look at my favorite redraft PPR league ADP values, sleepers, and busts for the running back position. Hammering running backs early seems to be a favorite strategy of many this season. It’s a great strategy, however, only if they are the right ones.

Fantasy Fallout from the Leonard Fournette News

Yesterday, the Jacksonville Jaguars traded Yannick Ngakoue to the Minnesota Vikings. After months of public frustration, the team was finally able to work out a trade. However, they weren’t as lucky when it came to Leonard Fournette. After trying to trade him away all offseason long, the Jaguars released Fournette this morning.

TNF Fantasy Preview: Washington Redskins vs Minnesota Vikings

Last week’s Thursday night game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos wasn’t much of a contest. Despite the Chiefs losing star quarterback Patrick Mahomes in the second quarter with a dislocated kneecap, the Broncos didn’t score after the opening drive and went on to lose 30-6. Hopefully, tonight’s game between the Washington Redskins and Minnesota Vikings is more entertaining, but I wouldn’t get my hopes up.

2019 Fantasy Football Week Six: Starts, Sits, and Sleepers

Here’s hope that your week five was a success and you started Will Fuller and didn’t sit him on the bench. If you started Mike Evans, here’s hope the rest of your squad pulled the weight and got you the win. Though on to week six and looking to recover from last week or keep the momentum going and to help fantasy football players with their roster construction, three of our writers have provided some insight on which players they would start, would sit, and consider a sleeper for week six. Be sure to follow all of them on twitter and ask any of The Scorecrow’s fantasy writers for fantasy advice.

Week 4 DFS Values

Last week was interesting, to say the least. It wasn’t a good week, but it wasn’t a terrible week. We can look forward to there not being any obvious and ridiculously cheap chalk such as Nelson Agholor, and we are getting to the point in the season where some occurrences are less random and skill takes over.

With that said, let’s get to the cheap looks for this week.

Monday Night Football DFS Week Three: Bears vs Redskins

It is time for some Monday Night Football. This week will be a lot better than last week’s game. Let’s be honest last weeks game was brutal. Watching Trevor Siemian and then Luke Falk play quarterback was not exciting. This game might not be as exciting as watching Patrick Mahomes, but at least Mitchell Trubisky and Case Keenum will do more than just dump the ball off to the running back. In a game where I expect there to be a good amount of fantasy points put up, let’s see who the best players are on this slate.

2019 Fantasy Football: Top Waiver Wire Adds after Week One

Week one of the 2019 NFL season is in the books, and it was a wild one as usual. From the defensive struggle in the 100 year opener to Tom Brady and the Patriots dominating on Sunday night, the NFL came back to our living rooms with a vengeance.

Whether your fantasy team didn’t perform how you expected – you’re not alone – or absolutely crushed it in week one, now is the time to scrounge the waiver wire for the next breakout star.

Derrius Guice Torn ACL – What it Means for the Redskins and Your Fantasy Team

Another meaningless preseason game…another meaningful injury. This week Derrius Guice tore his ACL at the end of the first quarter in their first preseason game versus the New England Patriots. I had Derrius Guice in case you missed it as this year’s second-best rookie running back. It’s a shame that he won’t see the field until next year so we won’t know his full potential until 2019. Guice racked up 19 yards on six attempts for an average of 3.2 YPC.
